Does anyone else got problems with any PSX Emulator? ePSXe and PCSXR are just crashing when trying to load any iso, with Win7 i didnt had any problems. Only pSX is working, but its not a great Emulator, compared to the rest...

Maybe someone have a solution for me? I even tried the compatiblity mode (Win 7, 8, Vista, and XP mode).

Does it give you an error message or anything? I just upgraded last night, and tested ePSXe with a Megaman Legends ISO a couple hours ago. It seemed to run ok for me.

Unfortunately my german is a little rusty (read: Nonexistant lol) So I can't make out what the actual error says, but I get the jist of it.

Have you tried applying any compatability settings? I was able to fix some issues with Project 64 by running it in compatability mode for Windows 7.

Another culprit might be the video plugin. I've seen that Windows 8 & 10 have some more unique issues with video than I saw with windows 7.

My english is rusty too :P

translated it means just:

retroarch.exe has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

i have tried Win 7 and 8 compatability settings, but still the same problem.

So you think i should try another Videoplugin? I will try that now

Whoa, that post tripped me out, my name is "Christopher" so I was like "How did he know!?"

Here is my ePSXe settings:

ePSXe v1.9.25
Video: Pete's D3D driver 1.36
Sound Eternal SPU plugin 1.10
CDROM: ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.7.0

BIOS: DTLH-3000.bin

So those are the plugins I am using, and I double checked it just to be sure and the game runs fine. I'm using the .cue file from Mega Man Legends.

I also thought about it, and have you used windows update since installing Windows 10? I fixed a number of issues I was having immediatly after upgrading by downloading updates from Microsoft.

Let me know if any of that helps or not. Hopefully we can get it up and running for you.

haha that was just by accident :P

I tried the same settings and it is still just crashing. SimpleAustin asked me if i have installed Directx9, i guess i don't, hopefully that's the point.

All Windows Updates are up 2 date and all my other emulators i have tested so far, are working like a charm.

I will report back, when i found out how to install DirectX9

<Edit>

I'm not even able to install Directx9 :/

<Edit2>

I have Teamviewer installed and running. When i Shutdown TV everything is running now, im so happy to finally get this Problem solved :D

To be more precise the one feature causing the problem with Teamviewer is the "Quick Connect" button... Go to Extras > Options > Advanced > Show Advanced Options > Quick Connect Button (configure) > Untick "Show quick connect button" Now you wont have to stop teamviewer all the time, it can stay active and EPSXE will work without issues. I will talk to them about that later on, they seem to fix bugs pretty quick.
