edit: using hyperspin 1.4 and latest rocketlauncher. using gtx770 graphics card (not intel integrated)

a) Downloaded EmuMovies 240p video snap pack for MAME

b ) Configured D:\retroGames\Media to be media path in RocketLauncher

WHen launching hyperspin, video snap of games are just a black screen...(not the error "movies are available at emumovies")

any ideas?

btw: y is that that HyperSync downloads 480p video snaps....can we not define the quality of the video resolution?

If you're just getting a black screen it sounds like your path is wrong. and the "movies are available at emumovies" isn't an error, it's a vid that plays by default from the default folder.

You said you configured them in RocketLauncher? Does RL even use videos for anything? They should be set in Hyperspin using HyperHQ if I remember right.

yes..i downloaded emu's 240p mame pack.

configured path to videos as screenshot shown.

even put videos in default path....converting to flv...disabled flash hardware acceleration...all yields same result as justBlank.png

It looks like you're entire theme is blank. Is that the case, because you didn't even mention that.

If your themes can't load there's no way for them to play your vids. That looks like your real issue. Did you move those for some reason too?

Awesome. Glad you posted a picture so I could notice and glad you got it working!

Believe me I've had plenty of times where nothing seemed to work right and it was me either overlooking something simple.

How does it seem to run from a USB drive? As smooth as an internal? Less smooth, but still smooth? Just OK? Poopy? I'm curious.
