neogojira Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 OK, maybe a dumb thing to ask but i do need a little help. I can in to about 6 PCs. I am starting test on them to see all there power. I think most are Windows XP with intel P4s in them. Want i wanted to know is whats the Lows Spec you can run with hyperspin on it. I know the rule of thumb is the PC has to be newer then the games it wants to run to play them. I want to make a Bartop or two for my Nieces and Nephew's for Xmas, But i work 7 days a week and i do not have much money, do buy new PCs. I do not want them to play newest games, buy maybe classic Arcades and maybe Nes and Sega Gen. I am about to crack them open and see whats good and bad and see what all i can put together from them. It would be nice to have a idea what is the lowest i can use so i can srcap what is unneeded. Thank you
Aorin Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 I think you can run Hyperspin (The frontend) pretty well with a Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM and some basic GPU, regarding emulation, you will probably run games from atari up to N64 (including MAME and 95's titles and below), less Saturn because it needs at least a dual core CPU to run well.
neogojira Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 That's great news. I am hoping today to look at the PCs I got. I will test them and put up what happens when I run them. N64 is passed what I want them to play. Thank you again
