THEWAVE Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 HELP! I'm new to this! I just got a cabinet with ipac controllers installed. I bought a drive off of someone. Installed it, so far so good. However when trying to load NES games, it immediately goes to unsupported video on my monitor. Most other games are working. I have a few other issues but this is most important. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Using Win 7, Hyperspin. Thx alot
THEWAVE Posted September 28, 2015 Author Posted September 28, 2015 I have. He's suggested a couple of things and they are not working? U saying people won't want to help a newbie?
thcdgaf Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Which emulator you using and disregard Jeremy he's been negative since day one on here Sent from my LGL16C using Tapatalk
namdor Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 I think what Jeremy is referring to is that when people buy a drive instead of taking the time to start from scratch it is frowned upon because they always end up on the forum asking for help and there could be a million things wrong with and probably outdated on the drive. Most people will probably say to start over from scratch because if you have this issue with the drive there are sure to be more. That being said there are plenty of people that will help if someone is willing to learn. In addition to what thcdgaf asked for (emulator type), does the emulator you have work outside of hyperspin or are you just having an issue within hyperspin? I'm newer to this but I would be willing to help if possible as well.
thcdgaf Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 it has to work outside hyperspin first then you can try to get it work inside
Shermo Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 It can be many things, people here have no idea how its setup. There is 100's of possibilities that's the problem. If people have bought the "setup" then there is a good possibility that they have 0 idea on what to do, even the basics. So where do you start...

Starting from scratch and loads of help from Austin and Giga are the only reason I know how any of this (hyperspin, rocket launcher etc) works. Tinkering and loads of reading articles/forums/readmes etc is the only way to appreciate your setup. I'm hoping that thewave can learn how this functions through this experience and want to rebuild from scratch. I also want him/her to be able to play some nes games and I feel as though (fingers crossed) the nes is pretty easy to set up even if the setup is botched.
