C_Wilson009 Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 hey guys, is there a way to change the name of a 7zipped file, without having to extract the files, change the name, then re zip them?
C_Wilson009 Posted October 11, 2015 Author Posted October 11, 2015 Hmm.. Hyperspin didn't seem to like that. I'll try again tho
C_Wilson009 Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 You would want match extension true in rlui if the name inside the file is different. yep, that did it. Thanks!
C_Wilson009 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 do I need to match the name of the 7z file with the database? or the actual rom inside the 7z?

C_Wilson009 Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Quite sure it's the name of the 7z file darn... So my issue is this: I have a zipped wii game and its titled in caps. DAWN OF DISCOVER (USA) <-- like that I don't want to change the database to look for that because then I have to rename the vid, image etc. So basically, do i have to extract the file, rename it, then compress it again?
SIMPLYAUSTIN Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I am sure you can rename within 7z, although it takes w min or so to recompression the data? Thanks for the cemu tip BTW mate Simply Austin's YouTube
