SNK NeoGeo AES - 'Unknown system 'aes' - Mame error

Hi all,

 

I am trying to run NeoGeo AES via MAME but on launch I get the attached error.

 

Has anyone seen this before?

 

Any help would be most appreciated.

Rename the system to "SNK Neo Geo AES" with a space between Neo and Geo

Yea it is named like that already in RL - 'SNK Neo Geo AES'. I know this is correct as the little icon appeared next to its name within RL when I added it.

 

My 'SNK NEO GEO MVS' system loads up just fine.

Hi,

 

I think I have just found the problem. I am using 'MAMEUIFX 0.160 x64 NoNag+HiScore+noBuffer+DirectInput.exe' as my MAME build.

 

When I download the standard version of MAME and use that it works just fine.

can anyone tell me why my box and cart art not showing in the neogeo aes, i have all the box and cart art, i think the themes might me overiding them?
