Capt_Blackwood Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I recently got the Logitech F710 for HyperSpin and my emulators. I'm trying to get it to work with Rocket launcher and all that fun stuff. You know, launch emulator via hyperspin and then return w/o having to get up and hit the escape key. I'm using JoyToKey Also where would you map that escape key anyway? The push down on one of the thumbsticks? Should I have the controller in Direct input or Xinput? Also is there a way to terminate JoyTo Key After exiting hyperspin?
gigapig Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 I'll try to answer a couple of your questions. Use Xinput where you can as it's the newer API and supports more controller features, but it may not be on every emulator, the only one that springs to mind is PCSX2. You can set a different exit emulator key in RLUI, you can also set a button combo on you controller or both. I typically use keyboard buttons c + 1 or if using an Xbox 360 controller the Start and Back buttons. Both are held for 2 seconds. You can now also set a different exit key for different emulators.
Capt_Blackwood Posted October 18, 2015 Author Posted October 18, 2015 Thank you guys for your input. I'll experiment with RLUI Some more and come up with some good combinations to pause and do other things. I just need to grab fades, bezels and all other beautiful stuff now. Thanks again guys.
