Would This Be Possible...

I'm doing research for building a Hyperpin cabinet soon and was wondering after seeing threads here of actually DMD boards used instead of a 3rd LCD monitor to display the DMD, and finding this to make things look even more awesome would be a color DMD, any thoughts on if this would work for VP or FP in my build...?!?

the ColorDMD is just a LCD monitor, so hardware-wise nothing special really. A piece of hardware takes the original DMD signal, analyses it, adds color and turns it into a video feed for the LCD monitor. All this could be done on a regular vpinmame cabinet with a lcd. The routines that add the color are probably a shitload of work though, and still dont look too good (IMHO), which is probably why noone has bothered.
