default video question.. (default video for each system?)

quick question... I know how to change the default video (and have done so already) just wondering is it possible to add default videos for each system (example: a default video for NES, SNES, etc.. etc.) Would be cool to have a specific system video set up as a default video for each system that doesn't have a game video snap. Right now I have the OUT OF ORDER video set as the default.

If I can't set a separate default video for each system then I'll just use some kind of arcade video mix to cover all consoles and arcades... just to have something interesting on the screen instead of the OUT OF ORDER video.

Personally, I went with TV Static for the 'no video'. It fit very well with my retro-console inspired setup.

Sadly, I don't think there is a way to make seperate ones for each system.

yeah, kinda figured that... thanx guys for the feedback!

I ended up using the X-Arcade commercial... I just downloaded it from youtube and renamed it to No Video.mp4, it fits perfect with the way I have mame setup.. I'm using the X-arcade theme for mame so it just seems like a info-mercial but one that you actually wanna watch for a few seconds before the hyperspin lol. I have a full set of mame roms and a lot of videos as well so it definitely looks cool and keeps it interesting with the X-arcade commercial showing up every once in a while.. it even looks cool with the other systems. I plan on buying the X-arcade tank stick anyways.

Only way is to specifically name the file with the video each time

Actually that is pretty smart...

I have one of my artwork folders setup with pictures of the Power Glove, NES Zapper, Keybarod/Mouse etc that will popup on the appropriate games using that  same naming scheme.
