New to the forum here. Was introduced to this hobby by a co-worker. I am a huge video game enthusiast and always wanted my own arcade and when i found out about this forum I jumped right in! I have been doing a lot of research and planning of my cab I want it to be perfect! I will be going pedestal style cabinet with probably a 32 inch tv as the monitor. Still unsure on sound I am pretty set on a 2.1 but not sure what speakers to get been bouncing around from logitech,klipsch, and the genious gx gaming speakers. I have already ordered most of my hardware and other essentials from Groovy Game Gear but its been a week that the order has been stuck on processing the money was pulled the same day i did the order and the shipping picked said 3-4 days and am getting very nervous with the fact that i have received no sort of email about what is going on. I have reached out and emailed them this morning I will see if they respond. Anybody have an idea on if this is how long they usually take to ship products. Also if anybody has any input on sound that would be awesome. I love this forum thus far, I'm loving the hobby. With that said everybody have a great day and spin on!

Well (belated) welcome to the forum!

I've never heard of a pedestal style cabinet before, that sounds interesting.
I also REALLY like the idea of a ".1" setup for sound. The idea of having a nice subwoofer in an cabinet really appeals to me (I used to play bass guitar and have a sweet spot for those deep vibrations)

Unfortunately I can't give much opinion regarding cabinet parts and such. I've opted to take the road less traveled here and do a console inspired build.

None-the-less, I look forward to seeing how yours all comes together.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the order, if it gets to be another week then I would start to track someone down with vengeance in your eyes. But that's just based on my experience with online ordering in general.

I agree, I am by no means upset at this point. I send a very polite email just asking on a time-frame of what is going on. I am taking my time with this and am in no rush. Yes, I can just image the sound of the bass when playing metal slug, contra, even Mario Strikers. Plus it would double as a good music set up too in the future. Not looking for anything crazy something with enough umph for some arcade sounds and casual music playing. Not going to try and party to the cab speaker setup...well maybe..LOL KIDDING.
