rastan Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this but I figured it's emulator related. I tested some HLSL on my main computer and they kicked ass... but when I tried them on my dedicated hyperspin machine which is just a old i3.. I noticed the lag... I removed the direct3d post-processing options from my .ini but I left the ntsc post-processing options, vector post processing, and bloom post-processing options in the .ini I think I notice a difference with the ntsc, vector, and bloom options.. do these options really make a difference?
gigapig Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 Did you also try turning off Bi-Linear Filter, which you can do in RLUI. You could also give GLSL a try which may be less intensive but it will depend on the look your going for.
rastan Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 thanks for the feedback! I also have GLSL so I will play with that as well.. and definitely will try to tweak within RL. thanks!
rastan Posted November 16, 2015 Author Posted November 16, 2015 I was using some custom shaders... i tried the GLSL in RL and it definitely was faster than the HLSL and my custom stuff. Still testing stuff to see the best effects
