scottishdad Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Hi All, Odd crashing problem is really getting in the way of my retrogaming in Hyperspin! Symptoms are as follows: OS: Windows 10 Hyperspin: 1.4 Rocket Launcher: 1.0.1.4; UI: 1.0.0.9; DLL: 1.0.0.1 MAME: (most common emulator I'm using): MAMEUIFX 0.153 After playing a game, sometimes 2 or 3, hyperspin freezes when scrolling through the games on a particular wheel. The video associated with the game continues to play but the controller become unresponsive and it takes a trip to the task manager to quit hyperspin. There isn't any particular game that freezes Hyperspin and I think it happens across multiple systems (though I'm usually playing MAME). If there's any more diagnostic information needed, let me know and I'll pull it out and post it. Thanks in advance.
Spawk Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 If the video is still playing, I'd be more inclined to think it is a focus issue not freezing. Do you have a mouse? Next time it does this try clicking somewhere on screen and see if the controls become responsive again. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk
scottishdad Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 Thanks for that. I'll give it a go and check back in.
scottishdad Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 Problem solved: I had xpadder running to allow me to control HyperPause. I also had joystick control selected in HyperHQ. It appears that these were somehow conflicting and preventing any input. I turned off the joystick control in HyperHQ and now everything is working fine.
