demonseed Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Hey Guys I got a WAMO blue tooth gamepad clone.. I got it working as a second player for mame and for Fceux with no issues, however in retro arch I am having issues. I hit the setup button go in and change my configuration from 1 to 2 players. It sees the wireless pad as ablue tooth pad but it does not configure it. Is there a setting in a txt file somewhere I have to turn on? I am confused as heck. Right now I use a xbox 360 wireless setup with xpadder for player 1. It works great. Anyone help me out? Its been a long time since I had to tweak and I am confused..... ( thanks Jim
damageinc86 Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 I haven't had any luck with retroarch and non-xbox360 controllers. I have a bunch of original system controllers in usb adapters and it only picks up two of them as being available, in all driver modes. But if it is in the list then it should be as easy as either mapping it, or setting it to be a retropad which is already mapped to their idea of button assignments.
demonseed Posted April 25, 2016 Author Posted April 25, 2016 Yes I am having no luck, just doesn't see it properly.
damageinc86 Posted April 26, 2016 Posted April 26, 2016 Yeah I asked on the retroarch forms too, and after a bit of question and answer time the thread just went dead. I have no idea why RA won't see all the controllers I have plugged in, where all other emulators see them. Oh well
demonseed Posted April 26, 2016 Author Posted April 26, 2016 Yes thats my issue. I got it working with my nes emulator no problem. RA just does not seem to see it. Anyone know if there is a way?
demonseed Posted April 28, 2016 Author Posted April 28, 2016 http://libretro.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1995 Just read this post.. wonder if this would help? I never have checked in retro arch in the txt files to see if its being seen there.
