Niewidomy Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Hello Hyperspiners. I'm srugling with GOG dosbox based games. What's my problem? Well those are run with a shortcut and those can't be added as executables in HS. So my question is how do I add dos gog games to my HS?

pinsanity Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 or in hyperlaunch. Using the PC launcher module in HLHQ. Go into module settings for GOG Games. Select PC Launcher module and choose Edit Global Module settings. a popup window appears open it to fullscreen. Select rom settings tab. Drag the shortcut icon for the game you want to set up onto the Red Bullseye icon in HLHQ. Finished - game is now set up in HLHQ using the game's shortcut settings.

Never knew RL/HL could do that. Thank you again.
pinsanity Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 No problemo. You can use this method with direct exe games as well. What I did to save time was to set up every single gog game I wanted first and saved the shortcut icons for each game into a single separate folder. Then I opened HLHQ using the above method and dragged the entire shortcut folder contents onto the red bullseye icon. Boom! - 450 GOG games set up in Hyperspin in one shot. To finish off, you make a GOG game list database using Don's Hyperspin tools based on that shortcut folder.
KlopjerO Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I thought I'd mention that you can use xllauncher to start dark forces. http://xlengine.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=205 Sent from my SM-A700FD using Tapatalk | My themes / downloads | Get the MS-DOS Wheel sound pack | Get your MS-DOS game themes here | Get the MS-DOS wheel set here | My YouTube channel | WarcrafT - Lord of the clans |ZeroJay's Ultimate DooM archive
