zebow2002 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Hello, in the proces of configging a single wheel "midway classics" hyperspin I ran into an error. download the pack 1.4 with mame few days ago. Deleted all Databases in hyperhq, created midway arcade classics and put it on single wheel. Hyperspin launches and immediately throws, can't find mame.xml, en then a black unresponsive screen, ALT+F4 out. Putting it on multiple in HyperHQ does not cause this error. Adding the mame.xml back in the database folder makes the error go away but I still get a static black screen. any tips? HyperHQ has the rompath and emupath filled in for "midway classics" but it's set to hyperlaunch. tnx! 09:03:17 PM | HyperSpin Started 09:03:17 PM | Going windowed mode 09:03:17 PM | Checking for updates 09:03:17 PM | Update Check Complete 09:03:17 PM | Startup program unavailable 09:03:17 PM | Playing intro video 09:03:19 PM | Error intializing joysticks 09:03:19 PM | Menu Mode is single 09:03:20 PM | Loading MAME.xml 09:03:20 PM | MAME.xml successfully loaded 09:03:23 PM | Quiting Hyperspin 09:03:23 PM | Bye!
gigapig Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 In HyperHQ you need to create the wheel Midway Classics. You then need to choose the single wheel option and then choose your newly created wheel from the list. Place your Midway Classics database in the folder that was created. That should be all I think. If you plan to Launch with RocketLauncher then HyperLaunch will need to be checked, if not choose "Normal".
zebow2002 Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 Hey, that is exactly what I did, really strange. I guess all start fresh and try again.
zebow2002 Posted February 11, 2016 Author Posted February 11, 2016 Started over, left all the original systems there, added midway classics and now it works fine. Before I deleted all systems in hyperhq and then created the new midway classics fixed
