dustytrenchcoat Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Hi all, Just having a problem with .mp4 files for video snaps in my Genesis folder. I've got one working using a watermarked EmuMovies snap for testing, but any others that I have put in the directory won't show in HS. I've got the wheel setup correctly in HyperHQ pointing to the correct video directory, none of the videos are compressed (i.e. all sitting in the same folder, all in .MP4 format, all named the same), but for some reason will only show one. I've only just set this up, I'm running HyperSpin 1.4. Is there anything specific I'm missing? Perhaps the videos need to be a certain size/length or something? It's baffling to say the least. The one video that is working was one I downloaded from a site, the others are captured videos from EmuMovies on Youtube, converted to .MP4 using keepvid.com EDIT: Solved - Mods please remove. The issue was that the file extension was part of the name (e.g. Streets of Rage 2 (USA).MP4) where it should have been "Streets of Rage 2 (USA)".
Avar Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Is everything named to match your Sega Genesis database xml?
Circo Posted February 20, 2016 Posted February 20, 2016 Why don't you just download the videos directly from emumovies? (No Watermarks) http://emumovies.com/forums/files/file/1548-genesis-video-snap-pack-240p/ ___________________________________ HyperSpin Website Admin Team Also Visit EmuMovies.com
hyperspidey Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Mine have extensions and they play fine? You had to remove them?
trab123 Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 I was having some trouble with certain mp4's from certain places. I finally just started downloading the movies off of youtube using this site and they all work great http://youtubeinmp4.com/
JoyStickKilla Posted February 21, 2016 Posted February 21, 2016 Why off YouTube when there is a whole site dedicated to them for frontend setups lol
