rmcelwee Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Yes, I have an arcadevga card but it is AGP and the computer I am setting up does not have AGP. I do have a few MAME machines running on other video cards with output to an arcade monitor using ArcadeOS. I cannot find any information on whether or not Hyperspin will do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
Anpanman Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 Use CRTEmu Driver with any Radeon from the 7 series up to the HD 5 series. http://mame.3feetunder.com/windows-ati-crt-emudriver/
bulbousbeard Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 The solution that Anpanman is actually better than ArcadeVGA. ArcadeVGA blows. It only does like 5 different refresh rates, whereas GroovyMAME can do ANY refresh rate. The link is out of date, though. http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php/topic,135823.0.html
rmcelwee Posted February 25, 2016 Author Posted February 25, 2016 The solution that Anpanman is actually better than ArcadeVGA. That sucks. I just bought a used ArcadeVGA in PCIe for $50. I did try that driver one time but my Dell computers did not like booting up from a non-integrated video card. Well known bug with certain Dell lines.
