ChinMuzik Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I'm looking to run Tekken 4, NFL Blitz & Soul Calibur 1&2 with HLSL enabled Also Dolphin and a few PS2 titles. I know this is pushing the uppermost limits and, and the i7 in Intels NUC offering is dual-core. Form factor is really the deciding factor fir NUC and the thermal footprint for the i7 is 28TDP so I'm thinking I might be biting off more than I can chew here. Should I just bite the bullet and build a mini-itx? I'd probably save a few bucks too but lose portability.
progets Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 These are nice and can play most things properly when setup right. If you want the ultimate, play every PS2 game and latest PC games you can build something else that is more powerful for less money but not as small. If you want small, quiet and portable... it's pretty kickass.
spotUP Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It's not very quiet though when it works hard. I am gonna buy a passively cooled case for mine.
