Rincewind Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 the last thing I did was test a sega game gear game by launching it straight from RL
Rincewind Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 Yes the path is ok , the game launches and plays fine from RLUI, cant see RL in the Processes list after I've exited either, thanks for the help here by the way
Rincewind Posted March 16, 2016 Author Posted March 16, 2016 doesn't seem to matter which system I choose they just wont load the game, is there anything else I should check 09:18:17 PM | HyperSpin Started 09:18:17 PM | Going FullScreen 09:18:17 PM | Checking for updates 09:18:17 PM | Update Check Complete 09:18:17 PM | Startup program: HyperSpin Startup Script.exe 09:18:17 PM | Startup params not set 09:18:17 PM | Working directory: F:\Hyperspin\Utilities\Startup Script\ 09:18:17 PM | Window State: NORMAL 09:18:17 PM | Launching HyperSpin Startup Script.exe 09:18:17 PM | Command Line is HyperSpin Startup Script.exe 09:18:17 PM | Playing intro video 09:18:19 PM | Error intializing joysticks 09:18:19 PM | Menu Mode is multi 09:18:19 PM | Loading Main Menu.xml 09:18:19 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 09:18:20 PM | Main Menu wheel loaded successfully 09:18:30 PM | Loading Super Nintendo Entertainment System.xml 09:18:30 PM | roms_only is true, checking files 09:18:30 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 09:18:31 PM | Super Nintendo Entertainment System wheel loaded successfully 09:18:37 PM | Launching Game 09:18:37 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:37 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:37 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:37 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:37 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:45 PM | Launching Game 09:18:45 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:45 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:45 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:45 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:45 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:45 PM | Launching Game 09:18:45 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:45 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:45 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:45 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:45 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:46 PM | Launching Game 09:18:46 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:46 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:46 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:46 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:46 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:46 PM | Launching Game 09:18:46 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:46 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:46 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:46 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:46 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:47 PM | Launching Game 09:18:47 PM | Using HyperLaunch 09:18:47 PM | Getting Launcher path 09:18:47 PM | Launcher located at F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe 09:18:47 PM | Running Launcher 09:18:47 PM | Launcher Command Line is: F:\RocketLauncher\RocketLauncher.exe "Super Nintendo Entertainment System" "Super Mario World (USA)" 09:18:48 PM | Loading Main Menu.xml 09:18:48 PM | Main Menu.xml successfully loaded 09:18:49 PM | Main Menu wheel loaded successfully 09:18:51 PM | Exit program unavailable 09:18:51 PM | Quiting Hyperspin 09:18:51 PM | Bye!
FrankyRizzo Posted March 16, 2016 Posted March 16, 2016 I have had this problem before. It seems to happen when testing games for me also. Normally a simple restart of the PC works.
Rincewind Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 OK I restarted a few times then uninstalled a few windows updates and it's just started to work again, really don't know what happened there. Just got to hope it stays working now
Rincewind Posted March 17, 2016 Author Posted March 17, 2016 Turned the machine on again today and same things happening, Restarted it 3 times. I am going to see if I can restore the computer back a few days (not sure if you can still do that in windows 10)and disconnect the internet to stop the updates
