I've just seen it and it's awesome

I love the idea of the neural handshake (2 pilots, controlling a fecking giant mech is brilliant)

despite the crappy review but "professionals" it's not meant to be taken seriously and it's actually got a hell of a lot of back story which I actually understood

Main complaint (for me is none really This is a guilty pleasure)

This in my opinion was the film of the summer. I saw a bunch of movies and this was the one I keep thinking about. Absolutely loved it and wish it would have spawned a sequel. People will see it on blu-ray and kick themselves for not going to the theater.

I own a 65 inch 3d tv and cannot wait for my day one purchase!
