NIVO Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 thanks bill. would you have an idea as to why "alt" wont map to genre(my button 2)? I see it was code 18. I use code 17 for favorites(my button 1). Could it be a bug of some sort? And the thing is you can't set it in hyperhq for some reason, you can press it all day trying to map it, and that column stays blank. moderator B.Y.O.A.C. http://www.arcadecontrols.com

Dazz Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 was anybody able to assign multiple keys separated by a coma as was mentioned at the begin of the thread? No, it is not possible.
reko19 Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 thanks, would be a good feature to have looking at the flash key table, there is no lshift or rshift listed used for up / down, ini file shows Up= 150, down = 149 which I can't find in the flash key table. Is there RCTRL and LCTRL available?
TheBigBoss Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 thanks, would be a good feature to havelooking at the flash key table, there is no lshift or rshift listed used for up / down, ini file shows Up= 150, down = 149 which I can't find in the flash key table. Is there RCTRL and LCTRL available? This is my exact question and it went unanswered. No one knows? So then where did 150 and 149 come from if they're not on the chart?
BadBoyBill Posted January 31, 2011 Posted January 31, 2011 149 and 150 arent real codes, theye just made up to distinguish between left shift and right shift.
Bilbotorm Posted April 5, 2011 Posted April 5, 2011 Hi everyone, I hope i am posting at the right place =) I would like to set some joypad combinaison in order to exit any emulator, like the ESC key. I am using a X360 arcade stick; so ideally, an unusual combinaison like select+L1 would be enough to avoid any unexpected escape. Is it possible ? should i modify something on the AHK or the settings config is enough ? Thanks for your advice.

I can easily see most of the buttons on my stick being used for something or other, depend on the game, and being able to, say, press the Start and Select buttons at the same time in order to exit a game would be really great. Edit: Here's what I found on the mamedev site. After hitting tab and going into the key configuration: To map so two keys have to be pressed at the same time, press both (or more) keys (or press them with a second of each other) after pressing enter. That'll help with MAME, at least.
mjfisher Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 149 and 150 arent real codes, theye just made up to distinguish between left shift and right shift. Thanks for that info - is there a way to specify left and right ctrl though? I was hoping to use those for Skip Up, Skip Down...
justintime Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 OK, so there is no way to enter a TAB key? I really needed this
ironface Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 Just wanted to say thanks for this thread, its helped alot.
aupton Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Would this still be relevant for the current Demul module for the current Hyperlaunch ? I'm trying to figure out how to remap these functions: DIGITALUP = 200 DIGITALDOWN = 208 DIGITALLEFT = 203 DIGITALRIGHT = 205 When I look at the FlasAction Script Key Codes page I do not see any references to the 200+ numbers that are currently defined in the demul ahk. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
zombichris Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 everything works fine on my Hyperspin, but for some reason I cannot set the Enter key to a button on my mame cabinet. I have to use my keyboard to enter a game but all other actions work, can anyone help?! please
crean99 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 The IPAC cards allow you to program keys as well. My Player 3 3rd button is an enter, so I put a enter tag in the button. I also added pause and exit buttons that leverage TAB and ESC keys using the reprogramming software that IPAC provides. That way these buttons work this way for Hyperspin and any other software I use.
