Don's Hyperspin Tools video not working

This is my first time using Don's Hyperspin Tools and I'm loving all its features, but I can't get video preview to work. My video player is blank white. Nothing shows up inside. When I press play it says "Playing XXXX" where XXXX is whatever game I have selected, but nothing ever shows up. Is there a specific driver or anything I need to make it work? It seems to find the videos (they are marked Yes in the video column) and they are in mp4 format, and they play fine in Hyperspin itself.

I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a Pentium 4.

Thanks.

I had just Windows Media Player installed. Also tried Quicktime for the mp4 support. It once again plays the videos fine. Just not through the List Generator.

Try updating to the latest version of microsoft .net

I just use the .net api for video playback. Its either something with .net being out of date, .net using a different/bad codec, or .net not liking something with your graphics card.

If all fails, you could try a hail mary and update the video card driver (only if all else fails as upgrading the driver likely may not help).

That link doesn't cover Windows XP, which may be why it's not working for me.
