4 Player Cab, 1st Build

Hey all. Just thought I'd share my first build that my friend and i made together. We wanted a clean panel with enough room for 4 guys to be comfortable, which is why you won't see anything but sticks and buttons. However, we designed it in a way that can easily be swapped out with other panels if you choose to. I plan on making another 2 player panel with a trackball, flight stick, and possibly a steering wheel. Might get a couple of guns, but that's for later.

It's made out of paint grade MDF with a industrial conversion varnish topcoat (much more durable than paint). It can be completely broken down and moved with ease so it can actually fit through a doorway. I still have to install volume control, artwork, main power button, and fan grates.

Let me know what you think!

Yeah, my buddy is a cabinetmaker who owns his own shop, so it was very convenient for us to each build one there. I'm an electrician by trade and I used to be a cabinetmaker too. As far as the panel goes, I'm actually not very happy with it. I used the kit from ultimarc, but if I could do it again, I'd get my own wire and make it even cleaner. Practice makes perfect I guess. The reason I wanted a 4 player cab is specifically because I do have enough friends that enjoy gaming as much as I do. Haven't had anyone over to play it yet, but i know it will happen often.
