I don't think it will take much to get this thread off the ground. Avoid this thread if you haven't seen the show and don't want it ruined as there will be spoilers in here I'm sure.

So... Breaking Bad. Discuss.

Oooooor, you can download the entire plethora of shows from Pirate bay

Sent from my DROID DNA

Link is for the Conan show dude. Conan's got the whole thing on his site. But yeah, I'm sure you could get it at PB as well...

Or just absorb it all on Netflix like I did... and then caused others to be absorbed into it. This is kind of a funny tid bit for any wrestling fans, but apparently at a house show in Springfield, Il this last Sunday, after an in ring celebration, CM Punk apparently told the crowd to hurry up and leave or else they would miss Breaking Bad. :proud:

Edit: Are there spoiler tags in this forum?

Don't know... that's why I warned folks about spoilers and just assumed they'd be here.

I've been having some debates on WW with some folks regarding whether or not he's evil. One side is saying that he shouldn't be seen as a true villain because he feels regret for what he's done and couldn't foresee what was coming. And the other side ain't buying it...

Personally I don't buy it. If you get into selling meth, you have to know that bad things come with it.

I'm sure the worlds worst murders were good from time to time, but that doesn't change the evil that they've done. I have found Walt to be an interesting protagonist, even hoping he "gets away" with it all the way to the end, but I've also found him irredeemable since the events involving Jane at the end of Season 2. But he's still showing signs of goodness like him helping Skylar on the phone in "Ozymandias", and the end of "Granite State" had me rooting for him again... but the dude's evil.

Well, that's what's so interesting about the show. Despite his name WW really is a dark shade of grey. We sympathize with him when those close to him are killed and he shows real sorrow and emotion but at the end of the day he set these events in motion himself.

I'm interested to see what happens in the final episode because his getting screwed out of the business at Grey Matter is what set this whole thing in motion to begin with. Does he go after them, does he go after the Neo Nazis? Should be interesting to see how it all plays out.

For me though the real finale was the Ozymandias episode. Now it's just the denouement.

So there's been no posts after the finale...what did you guys think of it?

In terms of whether WW is evil, I think that's the beauty of the show. He started out doing bad things for good reasons - to provide for his family. Once he got a taste of life on the dark side, he discovered that he loved it. At some point along the way (I think season 4) he actually admitted that to Skyler. When she was pressing him to stop cooking/dealing he objected and she believed that he would give the same reason to continue "I'm doing this for you and Walt Jr" Instead, he said he wouldn't stop because he liked it. For me, he transitioned to evil right around that time and never looked back...

Thought the finale was incredible. I thought the show was going to end very differently than it did. THAT's how you end a series. Totally unpredictable and extremely well done. And I absolutely loved the machine gun contraption.
