I have not found the cdrom iso, but I managed to download a torrent so full compound

In the root folder there are all files bat of 13 games, all running in fullscreen, clicking a screen appears green and then part of the game.

Then there is a DATA folder inside which there is all the singe folders ROM and FRAMEFILE are empty.

I followed the guide and I did the procedure several times, skipping the installer since singe folder there are all the folders of all games with audio and video files you need, but I can not boot games HLHQ I copied and renamed files BATCH, TXT and SINGE, and moved to the FRAMEFILE, but I can not start the games, always appears to me the error message that tells me that I must tell the daphne thing must start.

But by making a few attempts I managed to do something, now when I launch the game opens the green screen, the same as when I start the game directly from the batch, but after a second closes everything.

I'm going crazy I can not make it work.

Please post your HyperLaunch.log file set to troubleshooting and your Daphne_log.txt using code tags.

Thanks so much for your directions getting this working! I have got everything working correctly now, I think. I could not have done it without your help.

I put the folder path as Rom framefile because it is the only path that led me to this result, if I put as rom path "singe" I get this error message

It seems to me that Hyperlaunch not give any error, I think that the problem is in the daphne.

All those errors mean that your singe files are not pointing to the correct locations. Did you move your Singe install directory?

If you really must move your games, I'd suggest using a symbolic directory link rather than try to edit all the files manually.

I managed to download all the files from the singe website before they got taken down, and I went through your guide and started setting up the action max bat files, but I got this error:

How can you change the controls for AMG games?

Well,

If you are talking about 'ALG' games... ;)

The majority of them are mouse. You cannot change them.

The few that use buttons and joystick, I would do it with the built in keymapper or an external one if you are using one.

If it works once but not the second time, there is an update to the module that fixes the module corrupting the singe files. Update your setup please. This was just relased this weekend.

This same exact thing was happening to me with "38AmbushAlley.singe" specifically I updated (Did a pull, to daphne singe 2.0.5.ahk module) and now none of the ALG or ActionMax bat files load in HyperLaunchHQ. I followed your guide and had everything working 10 minutes ago. Read this post and said "Let me update my module" and now nothing. I deleted over the old file so now I am stuck with not being able to launch daphne-singe. Do you know how I can fix this issue?

Nevermind I was able to fix it. I just copied and pasted the prior version of Daphne Singe.ahk (2.0.3) and Daphne Singe.isd. The newest update (2.0.5) only came with Daphne Singe.ahk and not Daphne Singe.isd so no game was launching correctly but the corrupt issue remains.

Edit: Funny, now the previous Daphne Singe module I was using is giving problems as well. I guess I'll just update and leave it. I can run all the bat files fine outside of HyperLaunch anyways and they also work in HyperSpin too.

Edit 2: does anybody know if TimeGal or Ninja Hayate has any system intro videos in American Laser Games System Menu? I synced everything through hypersync, but those were the only two games without a video intro.

This same exact thing was happening to me with "38AmbushAlley.singe" specifically I updated (Did a pull, to daphne singe 2.0.5.ahk module) and now none of the ALG or ActionMax bat files load in HyperLaunchHQ. I followed your guide and had everything working 10 minutes ago. Read this post and said "Let me update my module" and now nothing. I deleted over the old file so now I am stuck with not being able to launch daphne-singe. Do you know how I can fix this issue?

Nevermind I was able to fix it. I just copied and pasted the prior version of Daphne Singe.ahk (2.0.3) and Daphne Singe.isd. The newest update (2.0.5) only came with Daphne Singe.ahk and not Daphne Singe.isd so no game was launching correctly but the corrupt issue remains.

Edit: Funny, now the previous Daphne Singe module I was using is giving problems as well. I guess I'll just update and leave it. I can run all the bat files fine outside of HyperLaunch anyways and they also work in HyperSpin too.

Edit 2: does anybody know if TimeGal or Ninja Hayate has any system intro videos in American Laser Games System Menu? I synced everything through hypersync, but those were the only two games without a video intro.

A couple things. There is no need to have the bat file launch the game. I only created the bat files to test outside HyperLaunch. I do understand that it works. There have been a hand full of people here resort to this method. But, there are just a couple things you have to have right and it will work like a dream!

1). That singe is in your Global Emulator -> Daphne Singe -> Rom Extensions.

2). The folder structure.

3). The name of the txt and singe files.

4). The Rom Paths in HLHQ.

1). Be sure singe is your rom extension in HLHQ -> GLOBAL -> Emulators -> Daphne Singe.

2). Your folder structure should match your xml and look like this:

For ALG -> ...\{Emulator}\singe\crimepatrol (etc... The folder names should match the rom names: crimepatrol, drugwars, maddog, etc)

For Action Max -> ...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax (all the Action Max files should be here)

3). The txt (framefiles) and singe files should match the names of the roms for both ALG and for Action Max:

ALG = Crime Patrol -> ...\{Emulator}\singe\crimepatrol\crimepatrol.txt & ...\{Emulator}\singe\crimepatrol\crimepatrol.singe

ALG = Mad Dog McMcree -> ...\{Emulator}\singe\maddog\maddog.txt & ...\{Emulator}\singe\maddog\maddog.singe

Action Max = ...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax\38AmbushAlley.txt & ...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax\38AmbushAlley.singe

Action Max = ...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax\BlueThunder.txt & ...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax\BlueThunder

4). For ALG your rom path should be "...\{Emulator}\singe" and for Action Max the rom path should be "...\{Emulator}\singe\ActionMax"

If All the above is correct they should all launch right.

I did find one thing. If your files are all good and in the above structure, set SingePathUpdate to false if the games do not launch. This is with the new Module V2.0.5

How do you change the singepathupdate?

I can't get anything working using hyperlaunch, but most games are working outside of hyperlaunch using the bat files fine. have set up everything as you have shown so not sure what the problem is.

To change the SingePathUpdate:

Open HyperLaunchHQ and click on the system on the left.

Then the Modules tab on top.

Select Daphne Singe.ahk

Click the "Edit Global Module Settings" button just above it.

In that window you should have six options, one of them is SingePathUpdate. Set it to false and test.

This solved my issues. Thanks for the solution and this fantastic guide! Only remaining issue now is, when I launch ActionMax games from HyperLaunchHQ I get the "Daphne, a Laserdisc Arcade Game Emulator has stopped working" error message. Which means the application crashed. Windows 7 x64 ultimate (Just so you know what operating system this is operating in.) I'll post my Daphne.exe log text (from Daphne Singe) and HLHQ Troubleshooting log.
