Don's Hyperspin List Generator - Im a newb -

Hey guys, I am hoping I can get some assistance from the community, as I am new to the hyperspin program and am trying to put together my own cabinet. When I use Dons list generator, the program will open up (just like in the video) and I can see all the games i have and the video clips for them, but after i go through the games and exclude the ones i dont want, nothing actually happens on the hyperspin wheel... I exported the excluded lists and the output list, but again, the wheel still shows every MAME game ever made. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The filter I used was a simple wheel filter. I excluded all the games i didnt have the wheel art to and then exported the list, but the hyperspin wheel still shows every game

Where did you export the list to? It needs to go into Hyperspin\Databases\Mame\Mame.xml

Okay, so the hyperspin source xml and the hyperspin output xml should be the same file directory then? like I am overwriting the xml file once I edit it? or do I just save the list under a different name but to the same location as the MAME.xml file?

What I do it's create a folder in the hyperspin directory called source xml, put all the untouched downloaded xml in there. Then start tool, pick wheel, point to source xml, edit, save in database/systemname folder
