Browsing the wheel with a joystick : is it a known bug ?

Hi,

It's been a while I did'nt used Hyperspin, but now a made my own mini cab, (see this topic, in french ), and installed HS 1.3 on it, I noticed that browing the wheel with a joystick is laggy and not precise at all.

For example, it offens jump 2 or 3 games at a time.

Is it a known HS bug ?

Are there solutions for it ?

Have you got Spinner or Trackball switched on in HyperHQ?

Gamepad support is broken so if your controls were linked to a gamepad then you would need to use a keymapper.

But you are probably using an I-pac or something so check HyperHQ first.

No I don't use a keyboard encoder, but a joystick encoder.

So, I have to use joy to key or something like that ?

Yes, gamepad support does not work on later versions of Hyperspin. The only real option is xpadder or joytokey.

Cool - is one better than the other for use with Hyperspin and various emulators? Never used xpadder or joytokey before but my iPAC's IC melted so I bought a cheap joystick encoder from China. Thanks

xpadder seems to be the most popular, it's what I use, but is slightly more expensive but not much. I think you can try before you buy.
