dreamkey56
Hello. I want to connect the PinDMD2 with an PinLED on my computer, but has problems with the PinDMD Driver. Because Win7 automatically installed its own drivers for the PinDMD. And now, I cant tell Win7 to use my own driver, because "the installed driver is the actual one". I don´t have the place in my computer to put in a USB 2.0 card. No free connector. Only a PCI x1 connector (this small one). I tried to do some tricks to install the correct driver, and at the end the computer accepted it. But isnt still working, and after re-connect, it tells me again "unknown component". I am also wondering, that the PinLED Shows nothing, after I connected the 5V power supply on it. Is this usual? Only shows function, when there is a Signal from the PinDMD? No single LED, no logo on it flashing, nothing? With power supply connected? Would be fine, if somebody can tell me, how to get this running on my new USB 3.0 computer. Thank you all, HP
russdx
pinLED is 12v so this is probably why the DMD is not working. pinDMD does not get recognized by some newer mother boards im not sure what they have changed but its happened a few times now on newer mother boards. the easiest/painless solution i have found is to just use cheap pci usb cards. can you find a pci x1 usb card? dreamkey56
Hey. Yes, you are wrigth, I need 12V. Was confused regarding the description on the back of the pinled. 5V without DC/DC Converter? Whatever. No, didnt find a pci X1 USB 2.0 card. Only 3.0. Bad, isnt it?
