1700Peach Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 If I wanted to have a hyper spin set up on the go to play everything pre the year 2000 (mostly model 2 & 3/ Naomi & Neo Geo CPS1&2 ) games which would be better? A Windows 10 tablet with a HDD/SSD connected or an android device?
THK Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 There is an unofficial android verion available I believe, but really this is a windows program. Kinda depends on what specs you can get on the device too I guess. ..........................back with a vengeance........................

Sub $200 range, so they'd probably be best suited for 2D classic game emulation the Neo geo cps1&2 and maybe some model 2, but no 3 or Naomi/Atomiswave things, no?
THK Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 The most important thing for emulation is the processor. Atom processors are quite weak, dunno if they'll handle model2,3 & naomi well. ..........................back with a vengeance........................
Agrajag Posted April 14, 2016 Posted April 14, 2016 I'm looking forward to seeing what turns up in the way of Windows based gaming handhelds in the next few years. The GPD Win looks very interesting but has a few design flaws that are unlikely to be resolved in the first model. Fingers crossed there will be future versions with more power and a better keyboard. There's also a (possible scam) 2 screen device from PGS that has just been announced. http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=1206728 HyperSpin behaving oddly?
