Remove Games from Hyperspin

Hi Guys, i just heared about hyperspin last week and have been really obsessed by it.

Been collecting roms / emulators for the last week and just got Rocketlauncher and Hyperspin to work! YAY

I read in a previous post that i can show only the roms that i have in the list, that's perfect.

 

Now my next question:

 

i want to know if i can make an extra menu inside hyperspin?
I want to categorize games by single or multiplayer like: 

           -Playstation

               -Singe Player Games

               -Co-Op Games

               -VS Games

               -Lightgun Games

 

Is this kind of editing possible?

Hyperspin does not support sub wheels.

 

 

 

but you can fake it.

if you open a system XML you will see this line in each game 

<genre> </genre>

 

if you press "G"  while you are in a system in Hyperspin,  you will list all the games by their Genre listing.  (assuming you have split your XML based on Genre)

 

so when it comes to your request

 

you can change the genre listing in your XML to your requirements

               -Co-Op Games

               -VS Games

               -Lightgun Games

 

then use Don's tools

to split your XML into genre based XMLs.  when you press G in your PlayStation System menu you will open a sub-list based on your requirements.
