Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 How do I remove the slight zoom-in on the console image when I select it in the main menu wheel? Running Hyperspin 1.4 with Rocketlauncher
gigapig Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 You mean from this. To this? Change the Wheel Image Size. Now that I've changed mine, I kind of like it the same.
Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 You mean from this. Image 4.jpg To this? Image 5.jpg Change the Wheel Image Size. Image 2.jpg Now that I've changed mine, I kind of like it the same. Thanks mate! Exactly what I was looking for. Could you help me with my main menu? I want all of my systems to look like this: https://gyazo.com/6e61418a0f13ef53c8f38f4d0ac6a19b How do I remove all the junk on the other systems that do not look like that? "Junk" being the transitions, characters, video not in the box like the other one, and the constant flashing "Free play" https://gyazo.com/0d37fd95bca7805096c013e9129897b2
gigapig Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 I only know of what's in the downloads section which you have probably seen. Others may know of more. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/category/733-universal-themes/
Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 I'm just guessing here, but it seems you would have to copy one of the themes from the redesign, unzip it, replace the Artwork1 with the appropriate wheel image and rename it to Artwork1, and zip it back up. Then rename it to the new system name and place/replace the one in the Main Menu/Media/Themes folder. I'll try that thanks. Is there any way to remove the 2 flashing "Free plays" in the bottom corners?
Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 You want to disable the Special Art under Wheel Settings -> Special Art in HyperHQ. I'm not sure which images are tied to which artwork letter/number though offhand. I just disabled them all and it worked. I replaced the entire theme and all of the nonsense stuff I mentioned earlier is gone except for the fly-in hyperspin logo and hyperspin logo with a fade out wall on some systems. How would I remove that? Thanks so much for the help guys.
gigapig Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Is that fly in logo a small flv video? Might in the frontend folder. AFK.
Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 Yeah they're in the Media\Frontend\Video\Transitions folder. Not sure if there's an option to turn them off so you may have to rename that folder. I had to check a fresh install because I deleted them a while back. I just deleted the files and kept the folder. Works great now! Sadly I now have a new issue. System logos disappearing. Sometimes they will be there sometimes they will not. Scrolling through Hyperspin sometimes fixes this. For my theme the system logo is always at the top (i assume it pulls from the same place) and those logos are always there so I don't know why these would go missing and back to the default text for the side? https://gyazo.com/eec4f929ffc11b1c507137e32864dd41
Random5095490 Posted May 10, 2016 Author Posted May 10, 2016 If they appear some times and not others it's because the name of the image doesn't match the database name exactly. It's usually an issue with capitalization. I've narrowed it down to always appearing on boot and after 1 wheel cycle they revert to the default text. An issue with capitalization where? The file name? The system name in Rocket Launcher?
Random5095490 Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 The file name of the wheel png in the Media/Main Menu/Images/Wheel folder. Your PSX system is currently named "Sony Playstation" (which should be changed) and your wheel image is probably named "Sony PlayStation". The system name and the wheel image file name must match exactly. But, you should use the exact name used in RocketLauncher when you add systems. I always use the names of the images in the RocketLauncher\RocketLauncherUI\Media\Icons folder when adding a system. Thanks this worked!
