Mame loads games in Rlauncher but not in hyperspin it goes to loading screen than cuts out before 100% what version of mame should I be using

You should use the MAME version that matches your rom set.

 

 

 

if you can load a rom in RL but  the same rom fails to load in HyperSpin;

you might have one of two problems.

1. incorrect path to your Rocketlauncher exe, in your Hyperspin Settings.INI file

2.You have Hyperspin 1.3,  and you are trying to use  Roecktlauncher without using the transition tool.

 

 

 

 

hard to guess what your problem is based on the info you have given.  You can start by posting your Hyperspin Log found in

.\HyperSpin\log.txt
