Greetings everyone, while being new into the HyperSpin scene , i spent a fair amount of time watching all the tutorial videos. However, i came to a brick wall when i wanted to add the cart scans and covers in the same page at the wheel. Could anyone please point me in the correct direction so i can fix my colecovision archive please? Thanks guys.

Michael.

here is an example of what i wanted.

Its a matter of the settings in ur default theme. In there an artwork folder is selected (most of the times Artwork 3 for Boxart and Artwork 4 for Cart art). Just try out the different folders located in the Media folder corresponding ur current worked on System. If nothing works - the default theme has to be edited in Hypertheme or the Theme.xml in the zip file with an editor.

Yes, in that case, only Artwork 4 folder shows content. So i am baffled. Also, in Hypertheme, when i try to load the colecovision theme and i get the following error :

so nothing is inside ur artwork 1,2,3? if thats is the case u "just" need to find the artwork. Normally 2 of theses folders are emty and 2 are with something inside...

Artwork 4 has the covers, i added the cart scans in artwork1 artwork2 and artwork3 just to see what would happen, and tried them individually as well, but no luck.

are the files named correctly? - if that is the case the default theme is just not capable of doing both, so u need to fiddle around with it in Hypertheme...

By reversing covers in artwork3 folder and cart scans in artwork4 folders, only the cart scans shows up, i just tried now.

And the problem in Hypertheme, is that it says it cant load the colecovision theme.

Try going to the nes downloads section and redownload the nes default theme and place it the appropriate folder (hyperspin/media/Nintendo entertainment system/themes/)... I think that's correct.

Then see if your artwork3 and artwork4 shows up. I noticed some odd issues like u described with the themes that come with the hyperspin install and redownloading the same theme fixed the issue for me. I just figured maybe the themes from the download section might have been updated at some point or another n it has worked for me so far
