AutoHotKey.dll Error: Call to nonexistent function.

is my months of Hyperspin work lost forever??

 

I was putting GameCube functionality on for use within Dolphin and everything was working great - but when adding Ishiiruka as a 2nd option for starwars i noticed an odd error when the Dolphin.ahk had turned red and an error about tampered Dolphin.isd was reported. Games now no longer opened successfully except whilst using Dolphin outside of hyperspin. - so........ i replaced the Dolphin.ahk and Dolphin.isd with the files from the rocketlauncher installer and the errors went away but to my horror - when i try to run a game - i get a little box FULL of Errors.

 

Error: Call to existent function.

 

Specifically: HideAppStart(hideEmuObj,hideEmu)

It goes on with 1022 1023 1024 1025 1027 1029 1030 1031 1032 1034 1035 1036 with equally confusing stuff for my confusion.

 

 

 

Does anyone know how i can fix this please?? I still have the files that turned red - the Dolphin.ahk and Dolphin.isd but with these back in their original place - the screen doesnot setup or rather it errors waiting for the screen to be setup.

 

Last hope is to just remove GameCube support and use Dolphin stand alone.

Thanks in advance for any help. I better add - i have tried removing and to re add the gamecube - BUT - the RED Dolphin.ahk and the report about the Dolphin.isd is still there!! I completely lost with this one!!

oh dear - is it borke then?? I tried downloading the latest RL - when i run RL i notice it no longer auto updated - so i installed RL fresh - it then auto updated BUT - i lost ALL my systems already installed. They simply were not there. The auto update not doing anything, i think is because it is already up to date but i dont really know - i remember it always updating everytime i ran RL. So i get a new install of RL and a one off update of lots of files then no systems - or i have my already installed version with all my systems but dolphin stopped working.

 

Any idea how i can fix my mess??

The screenshots you posted show RLUI version 1.0.1.0 and I'm running 1.0.1.4 so there should definitely be an update available for that. Check to make sure that "Check for Updates" is checked on the RocketLauncherUI -> Settings tab under Startup Options. You can force an update check by pressing the button I circled in the screenshot below.

Thankyou so much - i checked and auto update is ticked - but when i forced the update - 150 updates were found and installed.

 

This has fixed the original red Dolphin.ahk and Dolphin.isd as shown here:-

 

 

I now have the following issue :- 

 

 

BUT - one game did open ok, so it is some silly setting somewhere i dont know about - any help would be greatly appreciated - even a pointer to a relevant tutorial etc.

 

Again THANKYOU - so near to dun - any ideas would be helpful as i lost my nerve a lil for just clicking and seeing - lol

If the game is loading and you're getting that error message that usually means you're using a different emulator version than the one the module was built around. Therefore, RL can't find your emulator window because it's looking for a different one.

 

You can either use a different emulator version or get the window title/class of the one you're using and modify the module to look for that instead.

 

Arrrrrrr - i see - errrm - google is my friend or?? I will go search for window title/class.

 

Thankyou - i think i will get it sorted now - where as before i was completely flumaxxed. I could even use a different dolphin - the one i got was the latest from the dolphin site.

 

Thankyou - as soon as i got it done i will put solved - dun want to make false claims and complicate the solution for anyone else who gets into this situation.

There's a tool called Window Spy that comes with AutoHotkey, which is what I use. Run that tool and when Dolphin is running and has focus it will tell you the window class, title and a bunch of other stuff.

Lol - i chickened out - i googled myself delirious and went and took the 2 yr old Dolphin "stable" version - ALL is running perfect now - tho the progress on Dolphin in sweet as candy!!
