Billbobjedi2 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Im sure this question has been asked many times, but is there a way to have hyperspin only show games/roms that i have? Ive seen videos in the past where in HyperHQ a box is check, but it looks like that box is gone. Any Help? Thanks.
j5coat Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 It's in hyper hq, select wheel settings, the system you want to change then goto navigation/ themes. You have to have your rom directory setup in hyperhq for it to work. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Thanks you could always let RL create the xml from the folder.... for anything other than mame that should work out fine. the option for roms only or wheels only should still be there but I haven't updated my setup since I installed it.
BATTLEDONKEY Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 The check box is still there, its in the navigation/themes tab. Select a wheel, then navigation/themes and it's in the bottom right corner. You may have to add the path to ur ROMs and extensions separated by a comma in the emulator tab too
SkyHighGam3r Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Personally, since I built my collection from scratch, I tend to go with the "media" only. Then when I find a game I want, I get the Rom, Video, and finally the boxart, and call it a day.
coolmanclyde Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 What are the extensions? I get the rom path but not sure everyone means by extensions.
BATTLEDONKEY Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Extensions are the file type, same as u might have an .avi or .mp4 for a video file. ROMs have their own extensions such as .nes being a common extension for you guessed it, nes games. Just check ur ROMs folder for the particular system u are setting up and then add the rom extensions separated by a comma if there is more then one type
coolmanclyde Posted June 26, 2016 Posted June 26, 2016 Wow. I knew basic terminology but was over thinking this and thought it surely meant something else. Thanks for the reply
