Games launch/run fine in Rocketlauncher but error in HyperSpin

Hello,

Getting a Cannot find D:/hyperspin\modules\system\system.ahk..... when launching through Hyperspin.

 

Using rocketlauncher works fine though... :/

 

any help much appreciated,

If you're getting that error you haven't properly configured HyperSpin to use RocketLauncher so it's trying to use HyperLaunch instead. Make sure you're using HyperSpin 1.4 and you have the Hyperlaunch_path pointing to the RocketLauncher exe in the HyperSpin/Settings/Settings.ini file.

After a bit of searching found an excellent youtube video from a member here 'SimplyAustin'?  I believe...really helped me out. Got it running pretty good.

That video is also in the tutorials section of this site but it's missing an important step that will throw errors when you try to launch a game. In RocketLauncherUI on the General Settings -> RocketLauncher tab you need to set the "Default Frontend Path" to point to your HyperSpin exe. Otherwise it will throw database not found errors and cause some other issues.
