majorspawn Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Hi Guys, Does anyone know if Ghosts 'n demons pc from https://bonusjz.itch.io/ghostsn-demons works with Windows 10? The game uses the OpenBOR engine which from my initial research looks non compatible with Win 10, when I launch the game it pop us the OpenBOR window then closes. Metalzoic Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Yes it works perfectly fine on Windows 10 and it's one of the games in my Ghosts'n Goblins wheel. To get it working you just launch its .exe. Nothing in an OpenBore window should be open or show at all.

Metalzoic Posted June 28, 2016 Posted June 28, 2016 Thanks for this thread by the way. Checking his site made me realize there was a newer version than the one I was running. I was still on 1.3.6 which was the newest when I set it up. Now I'm updated to 1.5.4. And this newer version does work just fine on Windows 10 too. It also did have an brief OpenBor window the first time I launched it, but not after that. This latest version still has the issue of being stretched to wide on a 16:9 monitor though. Oh well. EDIT: I firgot to tell you that if you set the rez to 4x and fullscreen at the same time it will crash the game.

It's a fan made remake of the 4th game in the series which was only released on the WonderSwan in B&W. Made and released for the 30th anniversary of the series So basically it's the Wonderswan version, remade in color, with tons of stuff added from the previous 3 games in the series. If I could get it to display at the correct aspect ratio it would be the best GnG game there is.
