dmanc30
Hey all; I'm still a newbie at HyperSpin. I have it all set up and running but I've run into an issue. I'm using a 40 in Samsung TV as a monitor with a very powerful graphics card(GTX 1080). My PC is a full gaming rig but I wanted Hyperspin on it also. After doing some research I realized that my display setting is way to high for some of the emulators such as MAME, NES, and SNES. so I have to manually go into my display settings to change it from 3840 X 2160 to something like 1366 X 768 screen resolutions before entering Hyperspin. Is there some where I can set to do this automatically? I found some information where you can do it through HyperHQ using the STARTUP/EXIT section of HyperHQ using 2 batch files (one for startup and one for exit) but I don't know how to create the batch file and what goes in it. I know there are some super smart people on here and was wondering if you could help me out. Thank you! Sincerely; A desperate gamer!
kylecp1979
If you just want hyperspin to start up and a different resolution you an do that through hyperHQ. If you want different emulators to start up in a different resolution you have to set that up through the emulator its self.
dmanc30
Hello Kylecp1979; How and where do I do it in the emulator? Thanks!
BATTLEDONKEY
Depends on the emulator. Most will have settings to change resolution. Open them individually outside of hyperspin and go though the tabs and settings along the top of the screen (alt + enter or esc if u are in full screen and can't see the tabs along the top, again, different emulators use different methods). Some emulators will have an .ini or .cfg file you can edit manually to change the resolution
