MAME wheel text help; and xml guidance

so i have slowly been getting the hang of hyperspin (with alot of youtube help)

i have struggled with the xml issue

long story short, i wanted all the data for the roms i do have

without displying the 1000s of other games

had to use dons, but then it didnt give me the info at all

so then had to manually go through the massive mame xml to copy and paste the info into my new mame xml

whatever haha

 

but NOW

the texts for the games are ugly, they are simple

but if i go to say, atari, the game titles are all pretty and styled according to game

how can i fix this?

i would like the game names to look nice

 

also is there a better way to do the xml with the roms i have? they all work

but when using don they dont like to be picked up and it looks IN the zip files

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you're asking there.

It's easy enough... If you open HyperHQ (in your hyperspin folder) and Where it says "wheel settings" there is a drop down box to select mame for example. Once you have selected the mame you go over to "Navigation/Themes" and there is a check box on the right hand side that says roms only. Check the box and your mame wheel will only display the roms that you have.
