Hyperspin Game menu themes and videos

Hi guys I am new here. I only have 1 issue with my hyperspin setup at the moment and was wondering if you know the solution to this issue. The themes and videos work perfectly in my main menu ( where you select a console ). When I go in to play the games on a certain console I can see the theme and preview video without any problems, but if I start selecting a different game it doesn´t show it, if I exit to the main menu and go back the theme and video does show up...but then when I select another game the same thing happens.

 

Any idea what could be the issue?

What are your options set as in HyperHQ? Do you have the Reload Theme (or is it reload background) option checked on?

My reload backgrounds are checked off. Should they be checked on? I also have level 1 - 4 backgrounds checked on....as well as special backgrounds and Themes wait for special. Animated artworks Level 1 and 2 are checked as well.

 

In the Navigation/Theme options, I have checked return to last game, if the Theme and preview video dont appear all I have to do is exit to main menu, go back in it will take me to that last game selected and then the Theme and Video do pop up....which is strange...when I then select a different game no themes show up....but if I leave and enter again they do,I have no clue to what is wrong.

So did checking Reload Backgrounds to On fix your issue?

Thank you Metalzoic it seems like checking the option makes the background work without having to exit the menu.

For anyone else that comes across this thread, another way to fix the problem is to disable 'Themes Wait For Special' in HyperHQ. That way you dont have to have themes reload every time.
