QuinnHQ Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Hey guys, been searching around for this answer and I cannot find it (maybe I am not typing in the right tags?). I setup a Nintendo Power wheel for my machine, and was wondering 2 things: 1) How can I change the custom lettering on the ROM names (not the side wheel, the actual names of the roms... for example the "Nintendo Power Issue 058 March 1998" text)? and 2) Is it possible to have a video or my own MP3 running in the background for all the magazines (ROMS)? Thanks for any help I get!
32assassin Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 1 open the Nintendo Power XML you should find it in HyperSpin\Databases\Nintendo Power each game entry is defined by <game name="deathsml" index="" image=""> <description>Deathsmiles (2007/10/09 MASTER VER)</description> <cloneof></cloneof> <crc></crc> <manufacturer>Cave</manufacturer> <year>2007</year> <genre>Shoot-'Em-Up</genre> <rating>Other - NR (Not Rated)</rating> <enabled>Yes</enabled> </game> game name = rom name, in this case the name of your PDF Description = Name that shows up in the lower left of your monitor. you can change the "Description" to whatever you want without effecting anything. 2. You can't add background music to a theme. But you can add video support to your Theme, move the video of screen so that its not in view. in other words, you can add music to your theme in a form of a hidden video. you just need to edit your Default theme and convert your mp3 to mp4 format
