Tecno3D Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Hi guys. Recently I installed the windows 10 update to anniversary version, but when I finished my games were not being launched by Rocket Launcher, Rocket Launcher appears in the task bar, but doesn't start the game. Before this update Rocket Launcher was working very well. I need a little help!
Avar Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Never had this issue myself but the first things I'd try would be to run it as administer and if that didn't work I'd overwrite the installation with a fresh one.
Tecno3D Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 I tried to disable Windows Defender but wont work. I'll try to reinstall from the beggining.
Guest Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Hang on - are you using the rocketlauncher.exe file directly to launch the games?? As that is no longer supported.
Tecno3D Posted August 16, 2016 Author Posted August 16, 2016 No, I am using Rocket Launcher UI to launch games.
Guest Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 No, I am using Rocket Launcher UI to launch games. So what's happening? What errors are you getting? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Metalzoic Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I tried to disable Windows Defender but wont work. I'll try to reinstall from the beggining. Instead of disabling it try setting exceptions for HS & RL in Defender so it quits scanning them. Could be all your issue is. Is that what yesterdays Win 10 update was? The anniversary? So far everything is working just as it was for me, but I already have those excepted like they need to be.
