langsky Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Just getting started with building my first arcade machine and I have decided on HyperSpin as the front end. I have lots to learn and look forward to learning a lot here. I have started getting my system together which consists of the following, but I still need to decide on a video card. I will most likely use the on board video for now. Intel i5-6600K Asus Z170-E motherboard 16GB of DDR4 ram 480GB Adata SSD 1TB Toshiba HDD Windows 10 Home See you around the forum. Thanks, Kyle
EIdesign Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 i have a gtx 760's and 80's from builds left over are you building a hyperpin or stand up arcade? O and welcome to the HS . Some people use onboard sound others use aftermarket . my driving sim for later on will have a surround set up but that is over kill but it up to use. I hop you find what info you are looking for . if not just ask great group of people here to help you out..
Dabil Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Yes welcome! Always nice to here from someone new. Personally if I were you though I would use Windows 7. Way more compatible and easier to set up. After a year of trying, I still can't get my Windows 10 hyperspin set up to work as well as my Windows 7. Although as more and more of the Windows 10 issues are solved eventually Windows 10 will be okay. But I personally am not currently happy with it. Anyway, welcome!
