psmiraglia Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Hi there, I'm trying to put together a "Soccer Games" collection. I do have about 1000 roms across 30 systems I'd like to include. I found that Hypermint 2.0 supposedly does everything I need: a) it let's me select the games from a list across systems, could copy all the necessary media into the appropriate folder (or create links), c) and create a gamie.ini file for Rocketlauncher to deal with the multi-system aspect of the database (using the <exe> tag would be best, but I'm not sure the tool is being updated at this time). The problem I'm having is that the tool crashes on me every time I run the database creation. It seems to crash right after creating the xml. I have tried: - selecting a small number of games (less than 10) - making sure the selection does not have names dups (although I'd like to be able to do so, so I have several versions of the same game from different systems) - de-selecting "copy media" Running on Win10 at the time. anyone has experience with the tool and worked around something like this ? do you know any other tool that I could use ? thanks , pablo.

psmiraglia Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 HyperXMLspin looks pretty good. I already liked Hypersearch... waiting for the export unlock, but it seems like this will do the trick. thanks ninja2bceen !
ninja2bceen Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Get the most recent on, it's on the thread, prototype. I've tested it thoroughly and think it's going to replace the current one plus the export is now free in that version. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the focus issue when launching from wheel Advance the cause to 100%. http://hyperbase.hyperspin-fe.com/ Planet Geekdom, Subscribe for Tutorials! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdcby-s2GwriaOHGmVC2vGA?sub_confirmation=1&app=desktop
psmiraglia Posted September 17, 2016 Author Posted September 17, 2016 I think the tool is all what I asked for. Thanks!
