Could Not Find - When trying to load ROM

Hey Guys,

I have been following Austin's guide in getting Hyperspin setup and am now onto setting up retroarch.

In particular - I am at the stage where I am setting up genesis. My rom names didnt match at first, so used the rom naming tool found on the forums here, which worked a treat and it found 95% of the roms, all showing up as green when I perform an audit in Rocket Launder.

When I select a game in rocket launcher and choose "launch seleced game through rocket launcher", as Austin suggests you do, I get the error:

"Could not find "ROM NAME" inside the archive with any defined rom extensions. Check if you are missing the correct rom extension for this rom in RetroArch's Extensions, or correct the name inside the archive.

The roms are in 7z format and 7z enabled is set to true.

Help - what am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT

I should of mentioned - when I launch RA directly and load ROMS they work fine.

Open the 7z file and see what the extension is. Check to see if the extension is listed in the retroarch emulator settings in RL. Also open the 7z file and see if the name matches the same as your 7z file.

Ahh you could be onto something - when I open the 7Z file, there are multiple files within, is this normal it should it just be one?

The format once open is .gen, which I added to extensions in RL.

With cart based systems there should be only one file usually.

Thank you. The only thing I find odd, is that when I run RA on its own, it loads the 7z file fine, the issue seems to either be with RL or HS itself?
