need help! game opens second window

while playing street fighter, (i'm assuming it happens in other games also) it kicks me out back to the wheel screen and opened another window in the background with the original game playing

You haven't setup your keys/emulator properly.

well i thought i did, i went thru winpac and game inputs

well it sounds like certain keys you are pressing are doing it

If you are using mame original key config it may be because windows is capturing your inputs as windows shortcuts (ie. Ctrl + enter or alt + enter).

 

You can either change your controls so mame isn't using these buttons or turn off windows shortcuts from within windows settings
