Changing genre xml files

I swear I'm not an idiot.  I downloaded the new 180 xml files.  How di I get a specific one to show up when I access the genre list?

plenty of them show up already but I am looking to make a specific one the default but it doesn't show on my genre list.

please help, I feel like an idiot...

Hi

Edit the file "genre.xml". It list all the genre that will appeared in the genre list. You just have to add a line for example "Mario.xml" in this file. In the same folder, create your own mario.xml that list all the games where mario appear and you're done.
