Jon.Damico Posted December 23, 2016 Posted December 23, 2016 Hi Everyone, It has been awhile since I have been on this site, I finished my build awhile back (Thanks to everyone's help!) and placed it in a cabinet and haven't touched it since, however, I have been having issues with HLHQ AHK keymapper function. All of a sudden Sega Saturn's controls (which I had used HLHQ's awesome AHK remapping) stopped working. I receive no errors, it is almost like there is no AHK keymapping set-up anymore or the settings somehow changed to ignore the keymapping. I have no idea what happened, but I have come to realize that my Hyperspin build is horrifically outdated. However, for the sake of not rebuilding the entire system from the ground up, does anyone have a guide or can help me out with some old software. Versions below. I have toggled some of the settings, but I think I am missing a setting somewhere. When I find time I think I will rebuild hyperspin on Windows 10, but this build is on Windows XP and probably wouldn't be able to handle the updates anyways. lol. RIP Windows XP. HLHQ - 1.0.13.0 Hyperspin - 1.3.2.0 Hyperlaunch - 3.0.1.1 Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays everyone! Thank you for any help. -Jon EDIT: Just realized that MAME, which also uses AHK keymapping for the nag screens (press OK or Left/Right) is not working either. I am using an X-Arcade dual joystick with the original programming, so with MAME I changed the Numpad4 to Left and Numpad6 to right for the first player to bypass the nag screen. Same issue, no errors, its like its bypassing the keymapping.
Jon.Damico Posted December 23, 2016 Author Posted December 23, 2016 This was the guide I originally used over a year ago. I had it bookmarked, but it seems that many threads/guides have been deleted or removed since then. http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/forum/showthread.php?10709-HyperLaunch-2-x-Released
