Guest FED250 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I am having an issue when i exit out of zsnes. When I am running it through hyper launcher when i exit out the hyperspin fe shrinks to the upper right corner showing a large amount of the windows os sticking out from behind. Mame seems to be just fine exiting but not with zsnes. I have hyperspin set to full screen and I also have zsnes set to full screen and stretched so nothing should be set to windowed mode. I originally thought the screen was shifting but after looking closer it is going to a different resolution size. Does anyone know what setting might effect the window size after exiting an emulator. Would this be something in the zsnes config or the hyperspin settings? Any help would be appreciated!
Guest FED250 Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Has anyone else ever had this happen?? I am really stuck.
dpar Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 These types of issues usually occur because your resolutions do not match. Try running everything at the same resolution, hyperspin, zsnes and windows. Make sure you actually set the resolution in zsnes as well. Just because you select fullscreen doesn't mean it will automatically work ok if the resolution settings don't match.
dancing_monkey Posted June 5, 2010 Posted June 5, 2010 I have the exact same problem. When i exit zsnes (with ESC), HS looks distorted as if the resolution was wrong. I set both zsnes and HS to 800*600. Any ideas? Edit nevermind I made a fresh Zsnes Installation of the latest Version and it seems to work now.
oneshot Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I have the same problem I think it has something to do with my Graphics card I have not found a workaround I don't have a way to change the resolution in the emulator i think it is disabled bc of my graphics card Im using a intel hd 4600 via HDMI I tried messing with my resolutions on the card and on the windowed view of hs but it still shrinks on exit. any one get this to work i know this is an old thread.
oneshot Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 I figured out how to change the resolutions now it all works fine
