ANDROID N ON NVIDIA SHIELD

The only issue (change) is related to storage paths.   I have all of my media and roms on external storage.   On Shield, this means /Storage/<usbdrives>.    With Android N, apps cannot read / (root).     Most apps have address this.

Mame4droid still has an issue where the file browser (if you select non-default path) doesn't work.   The developer knows and is working on an update.   This is only an issue for new installs.   If you already have the path set, you'll have no problem.     AFAIK, there are no other reasons to wait on N.

No, external storage is working fine.    My existing setup works without issue.

The only problem I've found is with re-installing Mame4droid anew (although there may be others that need to be updated).   When setting your roms folder for the first time, it attempts to list the / folders and fails (due to new security permission limitation with N).   Mame4droid update will change / to /storage or /storage/emulated/0, etc.
